Explorer II White Dial “Polar Bear” I’ve seen a couple of posts recently regarding this timepiece and I’m one of the one’s who got the text. Anyway I just want to say that this watch easily became my favorite piece among my others (black sub, daytona and green dial RO). I was first dead-set on a Rolex GMT Master 116710LN. I loved the GMT function and even was initially enamored with the ceramic bezel. However, it's size and flashiness just wasn't for me. Then I shifted to the Explorer when Rolex revamped it in 2016.
The Explorer II features a date display, an additional orange 24-hour hand and a fixed bezel with 24-hour graduations, enabling day to be distinguished from night. It became the watch of choice for speleologists, volcanologists and polar explorers.
