The Hermes bands are 140 mm for double loop and 145 for single loop, or 0.4 and 0.6 inches larger. Apple will not acknowledge the problem. Hermes said they cannot do anything, their customer service said you cannot put extra holes in these bands. I typically wear the s/m sport bands rather than the m/l on the tightest setting so this also extends to the Hermès sport band that only comes in m/l for the 42mm. However, the bigger issue is the leather band.
All bands are unfortunately a tad too loose. And as @Brisebelette and @MacDevil7334 pointed out, the only solution is to drop at a Hermès store and ask them to punch an additional hole. I've. My new Hermès watch just arrived--yay! Except the band has a flaw--on the part of the wrist that is staring up at me all the time. It's a mild discoloration, but for 0+, it seems like I.

I went to the Hermes store (Calgary, Alberta) and I was told that they weren't able to punch an extra hole because it's not a leather band. The single tour Hermès bands are quite good, and if a classic band is desired, it is very comfortable and does look good too. I find the Apple leather link more comfortable, however. The Apple leather loop I don’t care for as much. The deployment clasp and band looks great and is fun to fiddle with. But, we wanted to review the four new bands that are being sold directly though Apple. Hermes band box. We chose all in the 45mm size when possible which fits both the larger Apple Watch.
